A storm killed 16 people in Argentina and Uruguay
The death toll from a severe thunderstorm that hit Argentina over the weekend has risen to 16 in Argentina and neighbouring country Uruguay. Uruguay’s meteorological agency said two people died due to strong wind gusts from the southeast early Sunday morning, according to a statement on the agency’s website.
