John Ashton, best known for playing John Taggert in Beverly Hills Cop, has died. He was 76. Ashton died in Fort Collins, Colorado, after a brief battle with cancer, said his manager, Alan Somers. Ashton appeared in the first two Beverly Hills Cop films in 1984 and 1987 and returned in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. in 2024.
