Alfonso Cuarón, the Oscar-winning Mexican filmmaker known for films such as Gravity and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, will receive the lifetime achievement award at the 77th Locarno Film Festival. He will receive the award on Sunday 11 August in the Swiss city’s Piazza Grande.
