Chilean scientists develop reversible vaccine to spay/neuter dogs
Leonardo Sáenz, a veterinarian and professor at the University of Chile, developed an immunocastration vaccine called Egalitte that works by blocking the hormone in charge of reproduction and is reversible. Findley, a small white and brown Chilean terrier, was one of the first dogs in the world to be neutered without the need for surgery.
