Antarctica had a record high temperature

East Antarctica last week recorded temperatures of more than 30°C above normal, which is considered an absolute record. The Franco-Italian Concordia research base, installed at an altitude of more than 3,000 meters, registered a “heat” of 11.5°C below zero. Scientists investigate whether it’s a random weather event or a sign of global warming.
