Apple said it has identified several issues that could cause the new iPhones to run warmer than expected, including a bug in the iOS 17 software that will be fixed in an upcoming update. Following complaints about the new phones getting very hot, Apple said the device may heat up in the first few days “after the device is set up or restored due to increased background activity.”
