Apple to cut back on film and TV series due to multi-million dollar failures
Apple will reduce the cost of producing new films and series for Apple TV+. Streaming service is known for the highest royalties in Hollywood. The company spent more than $500 million on films by Martin Scorsese, Ridley Scott and Matthew Vaughn, and more than $250 million on the World War II mini-series ‘Lords of the Air.’ All these pictures did not pay off.
