Assange’s final hearing to avoid extradition to US begins in London 

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has begun what could be his last chance to avoid extradition from Britain to the United States. US prosecutors want to try Assange on 18 charges related to WikiLeaks’ publication of large quantities of confidential US military files and diplomatic cables.
