AstraZeneca to invest $300m in US cell therapy centre
AstraZeneca said on Tuesday it will invest $300 million in a facility in Rockville, Maryland, to discover and develop cell therapies. The U.S. facility will create more than 150 jobs and will initially focus on manufacturing cell therapy products for clinical trials, the company said, adding that the venture could expand to support other disease areas.
