At least 43,059 people have become refugees due to floods in Libya
The International Organisation for Migration said on Thursday that at least 43,059 people have been displaced due to severe flooding in northeastern Libya. In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the IOM added that a lack of clean water supplies appeared to be forcing many displaced people to leave Derna for municipalities east and west of the Mediterranean city.
