Australia beat India to clinch a 2-0 victory in the Asia Cup

A physical Australian side dominated India to win 2-0 in their opening AFC Asian Cup Group B match at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium. After a tough first 45 minutes, Australia took the lead through Jackson Irwin before Jordan Bos made it 2-0 seconds after coming on as a substitute.
