Baidu has terminated its planned $3.6 billion acquisition of JOYY, the company said. Baidu subsidiary Baidu Moon SPV Ltd cancelled its share purchase agreement with JOYY because the closing conditions it stipulated “were not fully met” by the end of 2023.
