Bird flu kills more than 900 seals and sea lions in Brazil
Nearly 1,000 seals and sea lions in southern Brazil have died from outbreaks of bird flu, officials say. Rio Grande do Sul has confirmed the deaths of a record 942 marine mammals as a result of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) infection.
