Brazil aims to reduce emissions by 48% by 2025
Brazil aims to cut its emissions by 48 per cent by 2025, the country’s environment minister Marina Silva said at the UN Climate Ambition Summit in New York on Wednesday, releasing a revised set of more stringent climate targets. By 2030, Brazil aims to cut emissions by 53 per cent from 2005 levels, Silva added on behalf of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
