Brazil’s deforestation agents protest over working conditions
More than 1,500 workers from Brazil’s federal agencies fighting deforestation are demanding better pay and working conditions from President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The workers were tasked with implementing Lula’s toughest stance against deforestation, a key pillar of his campaign to re-establish Brazil as a leader on climate change.
