Britain to invest £100m in artificial intelligence research and regulation
Britain on Tuesday said it will spend more than 100 million pounds ($125 million) to launch nine new AI research centres and train regulators in the technology. The government said nearly 90 million pounds will go towards the centres, which will focus on the use of AI in areas such as healthcare, chemistry and mathematics, as well as partnering with the US on responsible AI.
