Canadian duo dropped out of national championships over Sorensen allegations

Canadian figure skater Nikolaj Soerensen, under investigation for alleged sexual assault, said he and his ice dance partner Laurence Fournier Beaudry will not compete in this week’s national championships. Canada’s Office of the Sport Integrity Commissioner (OSIC) was investigating Soerensen for alleged sexual assault of a figure skating coach.
