Catalan separatist leader Carles Puigdemont appeared before a crowd in Barcelona after seven years of self-imposed exile and despite an outstanding arrest warrant against him. Puigdemont took to a stage surrounded by officials from his hardline separatist Junts party at the Arc de Triomf monument.
