CDC confirms first human case of bird flu in Oregon
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has confirmed a highly pathogenic form of avian influenza in a person in Oregon. The infected person is linked to an outbreak at a commercial poultry operation in the state, where the virus was confirmed in 150,000 birds.
