Cesarewitch race winner disqualified after jockey breaches rules on whip use

Cesarewitch Handicap winner Alphonse Le Grand has been disqualified after it emerged that apprentice jockey Jamie Powell had used the whip in doses exceeding the permissible limits, the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has announced.
