Chile culls 40,000 chickens due to industrial bird flu outbreak

Nearly 40,000 poultry were slaughtered and buried in central Chile after the country’s first industrial case of bird flu was detected. The outbreak was detected on Monday at a factory owned by meat producer Agrosuper in Rancagua in central Chile, causing the government to suspend chicken exports for a 28-day period.
