China’s top economic planner has announced a goal of producing up to 200,000 tons per year of green hydrogen, a carbon-free fuel generated from renewable energy sources, but envisions a more widespread industry in the long term. The country also aims to have around 50,000 hydrogen-powered vehicles by 2025.
