China’s Xinjiang is battling the most severe cold snap in six decades
Temperatures broke a 64-year record in China’s far western Xinjiang region, plunging to a blood-chilling minus 52.3 degrees Celsius (minus 63.4 degrees Fahrenheit) amid cold weather and traffic disruptions after the Lunar New Year.
