CSL gets $121 million contract to increase US avian flu vaccine stockpile to 40 million doses
Australia’s CSL said it has been awarded a $121.4 million contract by the US Department of Health and Human Services to increase the US government’s avian flu vaccine stockpile to 40 million doses. Under the multi-year contract, CSL will supply its MF59 adjuvant, an ingredient that can be used to produce vaccines against the H5 avian influenza virus.
