Director and screenwriter Dave Filoni has been promoted to chief creative officer at Lucasfilm Studios. The new position will allow Filoni to be creatively involved in all future Star Wars projects, and he will work closely with studio head Kathleen Kennedy and head of development Carrie Beck.
