Ukraine suffers scorching heat in the midst of electricity crisis
Regular Russian air strikes have devastated the country’s power system, causing hours-long blackouts that have forced residents and businesses to adapt to the extreme heat. The Central Geophysical Observatory said on Tuesday it had recorded a record high of 34.2 degrees Celsius in Kiev on July 15 and temperatures are expected to be even higher.
