American Ryan Krauser became the first man to complete three “pitches” in the shot put at the Olympic Games on Saturday, adding another gold medal to his trophy bank with a powerful throw of 22.90 metres. His compatriot Joe Kovacs won his third straight silver, while Jamaica’s Rajindra Campbell won bronze.
