At least eight dead as super typhoon hits the Philippines
At least eight people were killed when super typhoon Man-Yi hit the Philippine archipelago over the weekend, unleashing strong winds and rains that triggered landslides and storm surges. Man-Yi made landfall in the eastern province of Catanduanes on Saturday, but weakened as it moved across the main island of Luzon.
