Australia’s Meteobureau says the likelihood of La Niña is decreasing
The Australian Bureau of Meteorology stated that the likelihood of a La Niña weather event in the coming months has decreased, adding that, if it occurs, it will be weak and short-lived. La Niña is of great importance for global agriculture, as it usually leads to increased rainfall in eastern Australia, Southeast Asia and India.
