Bain Capital raises offer for Fuji Soft, outbidding KKR by 1.6 per cent
US private equity firm Bain Capital will raise its offer price for Japan’s Fuji Soft by about 1.6 per cent, it said on Wednesday, beating a recently increased tender offer from rival KKR. The increase in Bain’s offer price to 9,600 yen ($62.88) per share marks the latest salvo in the ongoing battle between the two private equity giants for the $4bn software maker. US$4BN.
