Broadway play ‘Swept Away’ extends its run after announcing its closure

Broadway musical Swept Away will extend its run through Dec. 29, producers announced, citing a surge in ticket sales after the initial announcement that the show would close this week. Swept Away initially announced it would close after only 32 regular performances, setting its last day for December 15.
