Canadian oil province Alberta to clean up 5 per cent of idle wells in 2023
The number of idle oil and gas wells in Alberta, Canada’s main fossil fuel producing province, is down 5 per cent in 2023 from a year earlier, reflecting progress in decommissioning and reclamation efforts, according to a regulatory report released Thursday.
