July has become the hottest month in modern history in China, matching the record-breaking hot weather seen around the world last month. Last month’s average temperature was 23.21 degrees Celsius, higher than July 2017’s 23.17 degrees Celsius. It is the highest monthly average since the country began collecting comprehensive data in 1961.
