Death toll from landslides in Uganda rises to 17
The death toll from a landslide triggered by heavy rains in eastern Uganda has risen to 17 and more than 100 people are missing. The landslide occurred on Wednesday in Bulambuli district, about 300 kilometres east of the capital Kampala, and buried dozens of houses in several villages.
