Defender Hummels signs for Roma

Former Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels has joined AS Roma. The German international was left without a club after ending his contract with Dortmund in July. Italian media reported that the 35-year-old signed a one-season deal for €2.5 million.
