Heavy rains in Bolivia cause rivers to overflow their banks
Heavy rains in Bolivia over the weekend caused the Pasajahuira river to overflow its banks, flooding the Bajo Llojeta neighborhood on the outskirts of La Paz and leaving many people trapped in their homes waiting for rescue teams. According to local authorities, at least 26 people were injured and more than 40 houses were damaged by the floods.
