Italy evacuates thousands as Boris hits the north
Some 1,000 people were evacuated from their homes in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy after devastating floods and landslides, while Giorgia Meloni’s government was accused of lacking the will to deal with the climate crisis. The floods were triggered by storm Boris, which killed at least 24 people.
