Japan’s Meteobureau said Tuesday that there is a 60 per cent chance of a repeat of La Niña from now until winter in the Northern Hemisphere. La Niña is characterised by unusually low ocean temperatures in the equatorial Pacific Ocean and is associated with floods and droughts.
