Meta will not immediately join the EU AI Pact until a new law is passed

A Meta Platforms spokesperson said Tuesday that the company will not join the European Union’s Artificial Intelligence Pact immediately. The agreement is a temporary measure before the bloc’s Artificial Intelligence Act comes into full force.
