More than 47,000 people died in Europe last year due to heatwaves
According to a report by the Barcelona-based Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) published on Monday, more than 47,000 people will die in Europe in 2023 due to heatwaves, with countries in the south of the region hardest hit.
