Putin signs law forgiving debts for new Russian war conscripts
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on debt forgiveness for new army recruits who enlist to fight in Ukraine. The law provides for the cancellation of up to 10 million roubles ($95,835) in back debts for those who sign contracts with the Defence Ministry to fight in Ukraine for at least one year, starting on 1 December.
