Rains hit South Korea, causing landslides and bullet train delays
South Korea’s national railway company suspended some regular routes and slowed bullet trains as heavy rains in the central region caused flooding and landslides. The city of Gunsan received nearly 100 mm of rain in one hour early on Wednesday and several areas in the central region received rainfall of more than 200 mm a day.
