SEC approves listing of options on BlackRock’s spot bitcoin ETF

The US Securities and Exchange Commission has approved the listing and trading of options for asset manager BlackRock’s bitcoin exchange-traded fund on Nasdaq. Options trading for BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust fund has been approved under the symbol ‘IBIT’.
