Sobolenko and Pegula reached the final of Cincinnati Open
Arina Sobolenko reached her first Cincinnati Open final with relative ease, beating world number one Iga Swiontek of Poland 6-3, 6-3 in the semi-finals on Sunday. American Jessica Pegula beat Spain’s Paula Badosa 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 in a much tougher second semifinal that was briefly suspended due to rain.
