Spanish town turns red during Tomatina festival
The streets of Buñol, a town in eastern Spain, were awash with red as attendees threw overripe tomatoes at each other in a lively battle royal during the traditional Tomatina festival. Seven trucks distributed 150 tonnes of ripe pear tomatoes to participants. Non-residents pay a fee of 15 euros, while Buñol residents enjoy it for free.
