Focus Features revealed that the final film in the “Downton Abbey” trilogy will be released on 12 September 2025. Filming of the trilogy has already begun in the UK. It is expected to feature the heroes of the original series and the previous films, as well as new characters. The action of the film will take place in the late 1920s.
