Uber fined in the Netherlands for sending driver data to the US
Uber has been fined 290 million euros in the Netherlands for sending personal data of European taxi drivers to the United States in violation of EU rules. ‘This wrongful decision and the extraordinary fine are completely unjustified,’ said Uber spokesman Caspar Nixon.
