UK court issues mixed ruling in Pfizer v Moderna COVID vaccine patent case

London’s High Court ruled on Tuesday that one of Moderna’s patents relating to technology key to the development of COVID-19 vaccines is invalid. Still, another patent is valid and was infringed by Pfizer and rival vaccine maker BioNTech.
