UN Nature Summit agrees payments for the use of genetic information
Countries attending nature talks at the UN Conference of Parties on the Environment (COP16) in Colombia on Saturday agreed on how companies in sectors such as pharmaceuticals and cosmetics should pay for the use of genetic information from biodiversity in their research and development.
