Venezuela says it releases 225 detainees following anti-government protests
Venezuela released 225 people arrested during anti-government protests over July’s disputed presidential election, the country’s attorney general, Tarek Saab, said. The releases were based on new evidence gathered by prosecutors, Saab said in a statement.
